Aura Series

 

Simran Datwani is an artist working mainly in oil or acrylic on canvas. She creates vibrant and textured paintings which speak for themselves. Simran also makes some unique paintings which have a glossy – glass like effect which reflect. Her artwork adorn the walls of many ardent art collectors and exude positive vibes in their homes with her exquisite Vastu based paintings.

On the auspicious day of Diwali, Desee is showcasing her AURA series which depicts abstract forms of Goddesses Lakshmi & Saraswati. Most of these paintings are done on round stretch canvas frames of 16” diameter.
Aura is the subtle energy shield for a healthy mind, body and spirit.

First two paintings depict the abstract form of Goddess Lakshmi. She is the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity, both material and spiritual.

Third painting is Goddess Saraswati who is the Goddess of knowledge, arts, music and science. She is the consort of Lord Brahma and is revered as His Shakti. Her iconography is often depicted in white themes from dress to lotus flower to swan. White symbolises ‘Sattwa Guna’ or purity. Her symbolic animal is the peacock who’s crowing calls the pious to their religious duties.
